Welcome Dr. Bonynge –

We are happy to introduce Brett Bonynge, MD, who has joined our practice.

Dr. Bonynge (pronounced “Bonning”) originally served in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, where he served for 6 years while pursuing his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Bonynge went to medical school and graduated from University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) in 2021. He then completed his residency training in emergency medicine also at UICOMP and graduated in 2024. During that time he became interested in interventional spine and pain medicine as a way to build longer lasting relationships with patients while truly helping them through care and compassion. He pursued his fellowship at the University of Iowa, where he graduated in 2025. Dr. Bonynge is Board-Eligible in both Emergency Medicine and Pain Medicine.
